Almond Resorts will open its new 300-room Almond Casuarina Beach Resort in Barbados on March 15. Situated on Dover Beach on the south coast of the island, close to St. Lawrence Gap, the resort is undergoing a US$30- million expansion and a complete refurbishing of the existing property. As part of its all-inclusive program, Almond Casuarina Beach will offer fine dining at three gourmet restaurants, and four bars serving premium brand drinks, three swimming pools, a fitness centre, tennis courts, golf, a range of water sports with free lessons, and a fully-equipped Kids Club with amenities to suit all age groups from newborn to 16 years and up. Spa services will also be offered, payable locally. Six categories of rooms will be offered, ranging from standard rooms to two-bedroom suites.
