MeriStar Resorts - Popular Florida Family Resorts

The Fun Factory kids club at the Meristar resorts is a lot of fun for children age’s three to 11 at seven locations throughout Florida – Captiva Island, Clearwater, Fort Myers, Key Largo, Marco Island, Orlando, and Sanibel Island.

Under the supervision of the resort's friendly "Funologists", children enjoy theme-based days with a wide range of activities. Scavenger hunts, skits, and water balloon soccer are some of the unique activities offered make it popular Florida Family Resort.

MeriStar Resorts offers a variety of locations and types of accommodations that are likely to fit every budget. Fun Factory fees include all material, a meal or snack are up to $22 per child for a half day or $40 for a full day of activities.

Club Med Sandpiper - Popular Florida Family Resorts

All inclusive resorts in the US are few and far between, the majority of all inclusive resorts are located in the Caribbean or Mexico. The most well known all inclusive in the US is the Club Med Sandpiper in Florida. The Club Med Sandpiper is a beautifully landscaped, 40-acre county club-style resort village.

It offers a lot of variety and relaxation for a great family vacation. The Club Med Sandpiper is ideal for tennis and golf lovers, and offers kid programs for all ages. They have : Baby Club Med (4-23 months), Petit Club Med (2-3 years), Mini Club Med (4-10 years) and Junior Club for 11-13 years and teenagers during school holidays.

The special programs six days a week for children ages four months and over. And yes, they do diapers! The Baby Club, staffed by experienced child-care specialists, and offered from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. is perfect for babies and toddlers.

Activities include morning outings, educational games, nap time, puppet fun, outdoor time, and snacks. You don't even have to worry about bringing your own baby equipment since the club is equipped with cribs, potties, bathtubs, and strollers. You simply bring along kid and a few diapers and bottles.

The Petit Club, for ages two to four is available during the same time during the day and from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. for quiet games and activities. Days are filled with outdoor play, outings, face-painting, drawing, painting, and puppets.

The Mini Club caters to ages four to 12 is the most unique of its kind. It offers the most options and pushes limitations. The Sandpiper's agenda for the older children include more than 50 sports and activities – sailing, golf, tennis, basketball, hockey, soccer, water polo, scuba diving, and circus performance. That's right.

The Teen Club, for ages 13 and over, includes many of the same activities as the Mini Club plus games, shows, picnics and disco nights.

It is located two hours from Miami or Orlando airports, one hour from West Palm Beach Guests can also take optional excursions to Walt Disney World, Kennedy Space Center, and other area family attractions.



Amelia Island Plantation - Popular Florida Family Resorts

Located on Amelia Island, Florida, just 29 miles north of Jacksonville International Airport, the 1350 acre property overlooks the blue water of the Atlantic on the east and the green marshland and Intercostal Waterway on the west.
