Great resort for small kids in Puerto Vallarta

We went to Puerto Vallart last year and stayed at the Crown Paradise Resort. It was all inclusive and the food and staff were excellent.

The beach was OK, but we never went -- the kids pool (mine are 2 & 4) is where we spent all day, every day. The big ship with the ~10 slides was perfect for our kids. We ate breakfast, played in the pool till lunch, went back, played till sundown, had dinner.

The only thing we spent extra money on was a trip to the local water park for a dolphin encounter, which was well worth the money. There is a Walmart within 1/2 mile safe walk and grocery store 100 yards behind the resort.

Our plane landed at 1pm and by 2pm we had received our luggage, rode to the hotel (<10mins), checked in, ate lunch, and were in the water. Can't stress enough how great the staff treated us.
