Located only fifteen short miles away from the airport, the Paraiso del Sol Beach Resort in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic offers a family-friendly atmosphere in an all inclusive environment. Surrounded by tropical flowering gardens, the all inclusive resort is set next to a stunning sandy beach and features six different three-story buildings and various beach and land activities for both children and adults to enjoy.

There are 300 rooms spread throughout the all inclusive resort that range in category from from supersaver to suite. Room amenities include a full bathroom, air conditioning, cable television, a telephone, a balcony or terrace and a rental safe upon request. Guests enjoy views of the garden or pool and can opt for two double beds with rollaway beds to accommodate large families.

From badminton, volleyball, tennis and horseback riding to snorkeling, soccer, scuba diving, mini-golf and kiteboarding, there’s a slew of activities to enjoy together during the day. For those who prefer to explore on their family vacation, a rental car service nearby allows you to tour the island and take in the sites, from quaint Dominican Republic villages to the lush mountains and gardens that are scattered everywhere.

Children enjoy special treatment in the Kids’ Club, which offers various daytime activities and programs. Here they’ll swim in two different children’s pools, enjoy arts and crafts, learn to dance or play sports and socialize with other kids their age. At night, parents are encouraged to hire a resort babysitter, who will pay close attention to the little ones while you enjoy an adults night out in town or at one of the resort cocktail lounges.
